Always An Occasion Ltd Returns Policy
We offer a no quibble returns policy which means you can return an unwanted item within 30 days of when you purchased it (14 days for sale items bought online, unless otherwise stated; exclusions apply).
Exclusions to our Returns Policy
The following items are excluded from our Returns Policy:
- all personalised items unless they arrive damaged/faulty or are deemed lost in the post, this does not affect your Statutory Rights;
- earrings are only accepted if faulty/damaged when received and
- duvets or pillows cannot be returned if packaging is opened unless damaged.
To return an item:
The item you wish to return should be unused, in its original packaging and accompanied by a valid proof of purchase so we can offer the appropriate refund. Please ensure you follow the below instructions for your return to be accepted and refund given.
Return Instructions:
All orders will have a Returns Label with our return address. We deal with returns on an individual basis as some items can be returned using Royal Mail whereas others may require a courier collection which track the item as it comes back to us.
If you no longer want your item after accepting delivery, then please Contact Us, our email is hello@alwaysanoccasion.co.uk and provide the following information:
- Your order number;
- Item/s purchased;
- Whether you want a replacement or refund and
- the reason why you require a refund.
Unwanted items
Items that are unwanted after delivery are returned at your expense, except in the case of damaged or faulty items, see below.
Once we have the item/s returned to us we will issue the appropriate refund to you less the original delivery charge and/or returns fee we may have incurred.
If an unwanted item that is returned to us appears to have been used or is unfit for re-sale, we reserve the right to not issue a refund.
Damaged or Faulty items received
We are very sorry if your order arrives damaged or faulty, we do try very hard to ensure all parcels are packed with attention and care however, sometimes the delivery companies may have a problem during transit.
If your order does arrive damaged, faulty or is incorrect, please Contact Us as soon as you have checked the goods and raise the issue with us as soon as possible and within 48 hours of receipt of the item/s. We are here to help and want to ensure we resolve this for you as quick as possible.
Always An Occasion will cover the costs of postage on faulty or damaged or incorrect orders.
Glassware or sharp items
If an item arrives that is made of glass or porcelain and is smashed, please do not try to send this back to us and take great when you are handling it. We may just ask for photos of these sorts of items instead of asking you to return it for your own safety and convenience. So please Contact Us as soon as your have checked the item/s. We urge you to check all your deliveries as soon as possible after accepting receipt of them so as not to affect your Statutory Rights.
